Terms of Sale

Purchasing livestock is a rewarding experience but carries a commitment to care, feed and provide health care as necessary. 

We encourage the buyer to ensure they have the capability and suitable property to keep goats. Check for any council restrictions regarding animals and ensure there is at least a couple of acres of land for your goats.  Due to bio security requirements we are unable to accept goats back if you change your mind.

We recommend that you inspect the goat before leaving the property and raise any issues, concerns or questions. A vet check can be arranged prior to pickup at the buyer’s expense.

All goats will be up to date with vaccinations, wormed and free of lice. All disbudding, wethering and vaccinations will be performed by a vet. Although disbudding is done professionally there is no guarantee that horns or scurs may not regrow.

All goats will be NLIS ear tagged and have a National Vendor Declaration (Goats) and Waybill.

All goats will be registered either as pet wethers (ND-W) or does and bucks with DNA verification. 

If a buck or doe kid is proven to be sterile by a vet (in writing) due to genetic fault (not accident or fault of buyer) then a refund or replacement goat will be offered. Transport costs are to be covered by the buyer.

Although pedigrees are available prior to purchase if requested, no guarantees can be given to show quality, milk production, reproduction, height, colour, odour, noise or fitness for a particular purpose.

The seller is responsible for the health of the goat until it leaves the property, of which responsibility is transferred to the buyer.

By paying the invoice the buyer agrees to the terms and conditions of sale.
